Crystal Materials Department of Shandong Shanda Wit Science and Technology Co., Ltd (Crystal Materials R&D Center of Shandong University) is an entity which was founded by Institute of Crystal Materials of Shandong University, and was purchased wholly by Shandong Shanda Wit Science and Technology Co., Ltd in May of 2002. Now it is one of the important industries in Shanda Wit Company. Based on the talent and technological superiority of Institute of Crystal Materials of Shandong University, and the capital and management of Shanda Wit Company, the Department founds a good scutcheon of Shanda University Crystals. Since the Department is founded, it provides products, technologies and services for artificial crystals study and other industries based on the transform and industrialization of science and technological achievements of Shandong University . With the advanced single crystal growth, processing, film coating and testing equipments, the department mainly engages in the development, production and selling. Its main products include: S-KTP, Nd:YVO4, β -BBO, DKDP, KDP, BIBO, and so on. Its products are widely used in laser and luminous communication fields, and a majority of products are sold to America , Germany , Japan and other zones of Asia .
